MaThRad is a five year interdisciplinary EPSRC Programme Grant bringing together mathematicians, nuclear engineers, physicists, and clinicians. Its mission is to integrate modern mathematical sciences; such as spatial branching processes, interacting particle Monte Carlo methods, and inverse problems—into the theory and application of radiation transport. The project develops novel predictive models and software prototypes for implementation across the energy, healthcare, and space industries.
