Stochastic Bremsstrahlung
Bremsstrahlung is the process by which packets of energy are emitted from subatomic particles as the decelerate. There is no current mathematical model for Bremsstrahlung as a stochastic process. We are interested to understand how Bremsstrahlung can be developed in terms of coupling between continuous-time position-velocity-energy random walk type models and point processes of energy emissions. Single or multi-particle models are of equal interest. The former can be used as part of e.g. proton-beam modelling, whilst the latter can be used to model e.g. radiation showers.
