Helen
Knight
As Senior Project Manager, Helen work closely with the Principal Investigator and the Executive Team to deliver the the aims of MaThRad on a day-to-day basis while maintaining alignment to the long-term vision to ensure project growth and impact.
Helen has over fifteen years of Research Administration and Project Management experience. Prior to joining the MaThRad team, Helen was the Administrative Manager for the EPSRC Centre’s for Doctoral Training in the Modelling of Heterogeneous Systems (HetSys) and Diamond Science and Technology (DST CDT).
She has worked on a number of externally funded centres, programmes and projects including the ESRC Research Centre CAGE (Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy) and the HEFCE funded Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning CAPITAL (Creatively and Performance in Teaching and Learning).
Helen managed the Warwick Laksh Volunteering Programme between 2013 and 2020, which was a collaboration between the University of Warwick and the Laksh Foundation, an NGO in North-West India which provided free education in rural communities. Helen also worked with a Senior Professor in the Department of Economics at Warwick to establish and launch “Political Science Research and Methods” (PRSM), the journal of the Political Science Association.
Helen is the Co-Chair of Warwick’s Stonewall Self-Assessment Team and a Professional Services representative on the University’s Rainbow Taskforce which is group that works to move forward the University’s agenda on LGBTQUA+ issues. Helen is also a member of the committee of the PRISM Network – the UK’s network for Professional Research Investment and Strategy Managers.
