Panagiotis
Birmpakos

Panos is a Senior Clinical Scientist at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and PhD student at the University of Reading.

He completed his Master’s in Medical and Radiation Physics at the University of Athens and has ten years of clinical experience in radiotherapy.

His PhD research is supervised by Professor Marcus Tindall, Professor Tristan Pryer and Dr. Colin Baker and focuses on derivation of delivered dose of a proton beam via prompt gamma imaging. His interests also include treatment planning optimisation and Monte Carlo methods.
