Alastair
Crossley

I am currently completing a PhD in probability, working under the MaThRad grant at the University of Warwick, after completing my Master’s in Mathematics (MMath) at the University of Bath in 2022. My research interests lie in the field of probability and stochastic processes, my master’s thesis focused on stochastic processes with respect to cosmic rays. I’m working under the supervision of Professor Andreas Kyprianou and Dr Emma Horton where we are currently working on modelling rigorous mathematical models of Bremsstrahlung. Other mathematical interests include Markov process, Lévy Processes and Stochastic Calculus. When I’m not doing mathematics, I have a keen interest rugby and enjoy CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting.
