Ali is currently completing a PhD in probability, working under the MaThRad grant at the University of Warwick, after completing his Master’s in Mathematics (MMath) at the University of Bath in 2022.His research interests lie in the field of probability and stochastic processes, his master’s thesis focused on stochastic processes with respect to cosmic rays.

Ali is working under the supervision of Professor Andreas Kyprianou and Dr Emma Horton and they are currently working on modelling rigorous mathematical models of Bremsstrahlung. Other mathematical interests include Markov process, Lévy Processes and Stochastic Calculus. When Ali isn’t doing mathematics, he enjoys CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting and has a keen interest in Rugby Football.
